All 4 Kids...Metro Atlanta's Biggest and Best Children's Consignment Sales!
Hint! - Be sure to bring a laundry basket with a long belt or rope tied to the basket to help carry all of your goodies while you shop as no baskets are provided. Buyer Questions: How often do you have these sales? Our events selling spring/summer merchandise are in Feb/March and our events selling fall/winter merchandise are in July/August of each year. Are children allowed on opening day? Yes, Although strollers are not allowed until after 11:00am on the first public sale date. Are the sales located indoors?: Yes and No. :) The majority of our merchandise is located in air-conditioned/heated buildings, however some locations have the baby equipment, furniture and other large items located in a outside covered area. Are there any parking fees or entrance fees? No...however, adults who donate 5 cans of food AND $5 cash for missions will be given early admittance on opening morning beginning at 8:30am (no donation needed for children). General admission opens at 9:30 on opening morning. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Cash, Check, MasterCard and Visa. What is your return policy? All sales are final with no returns. How large are your sales? Woodstock/Acworth (300 Sellers - 30,000 sq ft), Cobb Fairgrounds (600 consignors - 25,000 sq ft), Mt Paran North (400 consignors - 20,000 sq ft), Lawrenceville (300 Sellers - TBA), Can we "try on" the clothing? Sorry, but no. We suggest measuring your child's current clothes at home (inseam, length, waist etc). Most shoppers then bring a tape measure to check for the correct size. What items do you sell? Girl's clothing infant thru teen, Boy's clothing infant thru size 20, Maternity, Toys, Outside and Inside play equipment, Linens and Bedding, Shoes, Bedroom Decor, Baby Equipment, Books, Bikes, Videos, or anything else to do with kids! Are the sales seasonal for clothing? Yes. We only sell spring/summer clothing in our February/March sales and fall/winter clothing in our July/August sales. Who runs the sales? All 4 Kids is a privately owned company that has been running children's consignment sales for 19 years. When organizing a sale at Mt. Paran North, the church receives a portion of the proceeds. Seller Questions: Who can consign their items and become a seller? Anyone can consign their children’s item with All 4 Kids. What percentage of the sales do I receive? Sellers receive 70% of their sales less a $8.00 selling fee (reduced to $5 if volunteering at that sale location.) What percentage of my items can I expect to sell? Most sellers sell approximately 80% of their items in sizes 2-10. For sizes under 24 months the percentage drops due to the sheer volume of merchandise received. People also tend to receive infant clothing as gifts, hand me downs etc. The older sizes also will sell a lower percentage as children become pickier as they near the pre-teen years and there is no way to try clothes on. :-) When do I pick up my unsold items? Unsold items are to be picked up on the Saturday of the sale closing from 7:00-8:00pm. All items not picked up at that time will automatically be donated and the check mailed within 48 hours. Do I have to sort through the racks to find my unsold items? No, when you pick up your unsold items, your items will already be sorted into your Master ID# for easy pickup. How long does it take to receive my check? Your check is usually ready on Sat. night when you pick up your unsold items (the day of the sale closing)! If not, they will be mailed within 48 hours. Will I know what items have sold? Yes! Every seller will receive a report that lists which item numbers have sold . Where do I find safety pins/coat hangers? Most dry cleaners will give you a modest amount of these items free. If you need a lot, ask if you can buy them. Most of the time dry cleaners will sell you these supplies at a reduced amount (cheaper than discount stores). The other place to try is your local $1.00 store or Walmart. If I consign my items, do I have to stay during the sale? No. Consignors drop off their items and come back on Saturday evening to pick up their unsold items and their check. How many items can I bring into sell? Each seller may sell up to 375 items per seller ID#. If you have over 375 items, please use the "Contact Us" link to discuss options. Volunteer Questions: Can anyone sign up as a volunteer and
attend the volunteer preview sale?
Yes, anyone may sign up to volunteer on a first come/first serve basis. Can I volunteer for more than one shift? Yes, many people volunteer for two shifts and either receive an extra preview ticket for a spouse/friend OR enter at an earlier presale time depending upon how many shifts you volunteer. How long are the shifts? 4 1/2 Hours Do you provide childcare for volunteers? Unfortunately, for insurance reasons we are unable to offer childcare. I'm pregnant or have a medical condition? If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, you will want to volunteer on Friday afternoons when the workload is less. We also have several "sitting down" security positions available on Fri and Sat mornings. If you need these positions, please email us with your request after registering and we will try to accommodate. Can I bring my children with me to volunteer? Sorry, but only children over 10 may accompany you while you volunteer. Can I cancel my shift? If a volunteer needs to cancel their shift, they may cancel up to 14 days prior their shift without penalty. We ask each volunteer to find a backup worker in case of last minute emergencies. If they cancel within 14 days of their shift without a replacement, they will be asked to volunteer for an extra penalty shift if they would like to attend the volunteer preview sale in the future. Preview Sale Questions: Who is allowed to shop at the preview sale? Only volunteers, consignors and first time moms are able to shop at the preview sale before opening day. (See links above for staggered admittance times and dates) Can I bring my husband/wife/relative with me to the preview sale? Each volunteer and seller is given 1 ticket, for 1 person to enter the preview sale. First Time Moms attending the First Time Moms presale at the latest presale time, may bring along a husband and parent to help them shop! Can I bring a stroller or wagon to the preview sale? Sorry, but we don’t have room. We recommend instead that shoppers bring a laundry basket with a rope attached for pulling your “bargains” behind you. Upright, wheeled laundry baskets are also great!. Are
children allowed at the preview sale? Only
children 10 yrs and older are allowed at the preview sale and they must stay with their parent at all times.
